The focus was set on the I.S.P.S. Code, which will enter in force on 1st July 2004, and will rapidly change the way the Hellenic Shipping Community will be operating in less than two months time.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the recently renovated and luxurious ballroom of the ATHENS LEDRA MARRIOTT Hotel, the Conference was conducted with the attendance of:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>General Secretary of the Hellenic Ministry of Mercantile Marine<\/b>, Mr. Ioannis Tzoanos,<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>Ambassador of Bulgaria<\/b>, his Excellency Stefan Stoyanov,<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>Commandant of the Hellenic Coast Guard Vice Admiral<\/b>\u00a0Christos Delimichalis,<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>First Deputy Commandant of the Hellenic Coast Guard<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Rear Admiral Pelopidas Agelopoulos,<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>Second Deputy Commandant of the Hellenic Coast Guard<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Rear Admiral George Papachristodoulou<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As well as Officers in charge for the Sector of Safety of the Hellenic Coast Guard.<\/p>\n<p>The Conference has been organised for the last 4 years by NAVIGATOR LTD., under the Auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Mercantile Marine and in collaboration with the University of Piraeus (Department of Maritime Studies).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>The highly interesting speeches from distinguished personalities, such as:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Capt.
